Google docs and cloud computing is definitely what educators should be using now but do not think we are able to yet. i tried to upload a spreadsheet into google docs in school before and the computer froze.
I have to say that I'm really happy you incorporated the use of Google Docs into our course (EDD 642). Up until now, I've heard of it, but have never used it before. And you're right, once you get an account, it's simple and straight forward. I think it's an excellent, organized way to get a class to communicate with each other. I think Google Docs is something that can be utilized inside and outside of a classroom, to incorporate learning, socialization and responsibility amongst students.

Google docs appears to be a great way to work as a team instead of as separate entities.
